Membership, Ownership, Financial Security Central Communications Credit Union (originally Telephone Employees Credit Union) was founded in 1934 to serve the financial needs of area telephone employees. Since that time, CCCU has grown to serve many other outstanding companies, including HNTB, AT&T and Faultless Linen Supply, just to name a few. The name was changed to Central Communications Credit Union in 1994. Today, CCCU membership is open to anyone living or working in Jackson or Clay County, Missouri, and the following U.S. Postal Zip Codes: 64150 & 64151. The Credit Union Difference The advantages of CCCU membership are endless and as soon as you join, you will have access to exclusive credit union benefits. As a not-for-profit organization, any profits earned are returned back to our members in the form of higher savings rates, lower loan rates, and lower fees. Our Mission Statement The mission statement of Central Communications Credit Union is to help members gain Financial success through the use of a variety of financial services which feature benefits and advantages beyond those generally available.
