Credit Union For Kids: Children's Miracle Network Hospitals We hold several fundraisers for CMN each year. Our annual "Skip-A-Payment /Give  Back For the Holidays" promotions allow members to skip a loan payment by making a donation to Children's Miracle Network. Central Communications also participates in an annual fundraising event put on by the Kansas City Chapter of Credit Unions. The KC Chapter sponsors the Annual CMN Benefit Auction every year. The credit union donates auction items, as well as funds raised throughout the year from credit union promotions. Co-op Financial Services matches all donations from this event. Shred Days Our newest venture is to sponsor Shred Days twice a year. Our first event was held at our Independence and Broadway locations. CCCU helps members reduce exposure to Identity Theft and keep personal information out of the hands of criminals. Harvester's Food Drive Each October through December, CCCU teams up with Harvesters Community Food Network by sponsoring a food drive. Members can bring in non-perishable food items or donate a specific dollar amount and receive a reduction on their Holiday loan rate. American Cancer Society National  Denim Day October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and every year CCCU employees can donate $5 and wear blue jeans on Lee National Denim Day. CCCU invites everyone to help us in the fight against breast cancer by joining together on Denim Day to participate in CCCU's Breast Cancer Awareness Raffle. 100% of the proceeds go directly to the American Cancer Society.
